which do you think is better coal or nuclear power?
carbon capture and storage (CCS) coal power stations or nuclear power stations. CCS is were the CO2 is stored some how one way is as a liquid or it is filtered through a field of algae and used as animal feed and/or bio-fuel
Coal: Nobody Wants It
Texas energy utility TXU says that coal is high demand. Merrill Lynch, one of three major financial arrangers to the utility’s massive coal power plant project (11 new plants in TX for a mere $11 billion), agrees. We decided to find out how much of a demand there really was. Checkout http://www.DirtyMoney.org to sign the petition to get our banks out of dirty energy and ask Merrill Lynch to clean up.

How much do different power plants cost?
What is the average price range, per kilowatt-hr, of all the different types of power plants, during the last year or two?
Coal
Oil
Gas
Nuclear
Hydro
Wind
Solar
Take into account subsidies, capacity factor, etc. so that it’s a fair comparison.
Total price is no good if you don’t know the typical usable power output.
This is about the cost required to produce a kW-hr of electrical energy from each different type of power plant, and nothing more. Solar is 5 times as expensive as wind, for instance. Please provide references.
Hydrogen powered plaes, trains, buses, and power plants?
is it possible? with the power plant i was thinking use a regular coal power plant to make hydrogen then use that hydrgen u made to power other plants that make more hydrogen then u could have hydrogen powered plants makin hydrogen for hydrogen powered cars, planes, buses, etc. is this plausable in the next few decades?
