Imagine if John McCain had whispered somewhere that he was willing to bankrupt a major industry? Would this declaration not immediately be front page news? Well, Barack Obama actually flat out told the San Francisco Chronicle (SF Gate) that he was willing to see the coal industry go bankrupt in a January 17, 2008 interview. The result? Nothing. We are not a wealthy family, about 40,000 a year and I am disabled. How will I feed my family, how will I be able to afford for my husband to get to work if the price of gas goes to $7.00 a gallon, and how will I be able to keep us warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
I know that he is “effervescent” say some, but don’t we want someone to HELP the public not take away jobs, increase the tax burden and the amount of money that we pay just for essentials?
I am confused. It is one thing to vote for someone to make history, but another to vote for someone who is going to make history but taxing us into oblivion.
