where can I get figures for the carbon dioxide emissions from different kinds of power station?

coal power

I need something quite authoritative and definitive that will stand up to scrutiny. However, I’m only looking for base load figures, averaged over your generic power station classes (coal, CCGT, OCGT etc). Assume OCGT burns distillate and the coal is bituminous. But that’s too much detail for now…

These figures are based upon grams of CO2 emissions per kWh of electricity produced:

    Hydroelectric 2-48
    Modern Coal 790-1182
    Nuclear 2-59
    Natural Gas 389-511
    Forest Waste 15-101
    Wind 7-124
    Solar 13-731
